PlayServers offers an easy-to-use control panel that lets you manage multiple game servers. In the sections below, we'll show you how to manage your servers.
With PlayServers, starting your own dedicated game server is easy. First, create an account.
To launch a server, click the Launch Server button from the control panel home page. Select a product and region, then enter your payment details. After reviewing your order, click the Place your order button. Your payment method will be charged and will become the default payment method for recurring payments.
Your dedicated server will be provisioned and will take a few minutes to start.
Update Server Settings
From the control panel home page, click on your server. Next, select Configuration. Edit your settings, then click Save. Return to the server details page, then click Apply. Your server will then be restarted and your settings will be applied. It may take several minutes for your server to restart.
Backup and Restore Save Files
PlayServers creates daily backups of your servers' game save data automatically. You can also create a manual backup as well. From control panel home page, click on you server in the server list, then click Backups. Under the Manual panel, click Create Backup. A backup of your server's data will be made.
To restore a backup, visit the Backups page. Find the backup you wish to restore from either the Manual or Automatic panel. Click the button. Your server will restart and your server's game save data will be restored.
There are two methods of cancelletion:
- Cancel individual server
- Cancel all servers
When you cancel a server, it will be shut down and will no longer be visible in your server list. Before you cancel a server, please download any backups that you wish to keep.
You can cancel an individual server by first clicking on the server from the control panel home page. Next, click the icon, then click Cancel. You will be asked to confirm your intent to cancel the server. Once you have cancelled your server, you will receive a prorated refund for the time remaining that will be applied to your balance on your next bill.
You may also cancel all of your servers. When ending your subscription to our services, you will receive a prorated refund for any remaining server time. Before you cancel, please download any backups that you wish to keep.

At PlayServers, we do our best to keep your servers up and running at peak performance and with minimal downtime. We constantly monitor every server we provision for our customers and are immediately alerted when issues are detected. We quickly resolve issues with our hardware and software.
From time to time, you may experience issues with your servers. The dedicated server software we provision for you is created and released by third parties (game developers, mod developers, etc.), and these releases may introduce lag, bugs, crashes, or other issues that negatively impact your servers' performance and your gaming experience. PlayServers is unable to provide support for general issues with game servers, mods, and other third-party software, as we do not maintain these softwares.
In general, resetting your servers' settings and removing all mods will resolve most issues. If you are experiencing general issues with game server software or mods, please contact the publisher of the game server or mod for support.
